Park City shines in the spring, and there is plenty of time to ski during the springtime in Park City, Utah. The sun shines bright amidst clear blue skies, and the snow is still plentiful.

Plus, we like to end the ski season with a splash... A favorite annual event, Park City Mountain's Spring Grüv, includes a pond skimming competition where contestants skim across an icy pond on their skis and snowboards. It's a sight to be seen and a celebration you won't want to miss!

Here's a list of 10 things to do in Park City this spring, including events, activities, and, of course, world-class skiing:

Hit the Slopes

Back to Top of List

Spring is a great time of year to ski and snowboard at Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain. Where else are you going to find completely blue skies and snow? Spring days spent on the mountain are sunnier and warmer, and the soft, hero snow is so good you'll want to ski bell-to-bell before enjoying a beer outside. Insider tip: ski the east and south-facing runs earlier in the day since they've had time to soften a bit-- they'll provide great spring skiing. Most importantly, don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses!

Treat Yourself to a little Apres Ski

On the Park City Mountain side? Head to the Corner Store at the Park City Base Area for a lively scene with a large patio.

One of the other unique aspects of Park City is the ability to ski right into town, where you'll find a plethora of fantastic après spots on and off Main Street!
